March 12, 2012 - Coaching in the kitchen & beyond - Most of us don't cook from scratch anymore. Let's face it...we are a sauce from a jar, soup from a can, chicken shaking generation.  Packaged foods do make our lives easier, but they also contain many unnecessary ingredients and chemicals that can add to food allergies and sensitivities. This equates to more pain. Sure when you are managing fibromyalgia who has time or energy to cook? Greg Miller, Life Coach, teaches people how to eat better and move more. Mr. Miller's interactive presentation and demonstrations will provide guidance, support and solutions to MAKE KITCHEN TIME QUICK and EASY and healthier! 


April 9, 2012 - Guest speaker Linda Kaminski MS, RD, CDE, is the author of “You Gotta Eat,” and a registered dietitian. Mrs. Kaminski is knowledgable in all areas of nutrition and wellness. Her specialty is in the prevention and management of chronic disease. Please join us as she shares her insights into nutrition and its effects on fibromyalgia. May 5, 2012 - Saturday afternoon (times released shortly) - Michigan Fibromyalgia Awareness Day - 11th annual awareness event. Join us to learn how to understand and manage fibromyalgia from our speakers and exhibitors. Featured guest speaker Dr. Carol Beals MD, of the Beals Institute, has worked with fibromyalgia patients for over 30 years. She will share her insights into living well with fibromyalgia. May 14, 2012 - No meeting due to the Michigan Fibromyalgia Awareness Event on May 5.


June 11, 2012 - Guest speaker Tom Hintz. Mr. Hintz is the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association Vice President, and he is the founder of Health E U Coaching. Mr. Hintz will be joining us via phone or teleconference to share how health coaching can help you learn the tools necessary to  promote relief and healing. Mr. Hintz has lived with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia for 40 years and he will share his story during his lively discussion.


July 9, 2012, 6:30 PM, Starr Jaycee Park, Royal Oak - Tai Chi in the park. Bring your family and friends to this fun and educational dessert picnic celebration. Learn about the benefits of Tai Chi and participate in a demonstration. RSVPs and donations greatly appreciated. Click here to RSVP and share how many people will be attending with you.    September 10, 2012 - Gary Bimberg of Levine Benjamin will share what you need to

    know about Social Security Disability & fibromyalgia.


    October 8 - Dr. Irene Metro, founder of Plymouth Integrative Medicine Center, has been

    helping people with fibromyalgia for over 15 years. She also is a person with fibromyalgia.

    Dr. Metro will share her insights into successfully managing fibromyalgia.
